Debora Hirsch was born in São Paulo, Brazil. She received her an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of São Paulo and an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan.

Hirsch’s interdisciplinary practice spans painting, drawing, installations, video and performance. Incorporating elements of the colonial historic period imagery, digital world artifacts, architecture evocative details, symbolic decorative fragments, organic life and scientific representations, Hirsch’s universe of sublime forms shifts between conjectures, interpretation and representation.
